Deliverable One: Arrowhead Plant

For the first deliverable, an Illustration of the

Arrowhead Plant, I had the opportunity to

explore one of my favorite varieties of scientific

illustration—and one of my preferred painting

subjects in general—botanical imagery. The

arrowhead plant is a species I am very familiar with

and own a specimen of myself, making it an ideal

subject to serve as an example of hand-painted

scientific illustration.
